WATCH: Obama parties maskless at ‘epic’ birthday bash as the rest of America forced to mask up
A video from Erykah Badu’s now-deleted tweet gives a glimpse into former President Obama’s birthday party at Martha’s Vineyard where guests were unmasked and potentially unvaccinated.
Presumably due to the media’s reaction to the party plans, reports surfaced that Obama’s lavish, extravagant party would be scaled back. Photos and videos leaked of the party seem to indicate otherwise.

“Your relatives died alone. Your wedding was canceled. Your business was locked down. By the people at this party. It’s all a control sham. Never comply. Never give them an inch,” tweeted John Cardillo.
“Had to delete everything due to the rules. It was epic for sure. If any videos surface it’s going viral. He danced the whole time. Nobody ever seen Obama like this before,” said guest Trap Beckham.
“Remember this when they’re telling you to lock down again in a couple weeks. Rules for thee but not for me,” cautioned one person on Twitter.

“Meanwhile, the peasants have to say goodbye to their dying relatives via Zoom calls while their children are forced to wear masks 6+ hours a day in classrooms,” Tweeted Alana Mastrangelo.
“No rules for the rulers,” said Jack Posobiec.
“You still believe the crap they’re feeding you about how serious & scary the virus is? WAKE UP,” ranted another Twitter user.
“it’s like there’s a circle of elites making all the decisions and then the rest of us,” observed Siraj Hashmi.

“They wanted my 5-year-old son to run around a baseball diamond alone in 90 degree heat wearing a face mask,” one parent said.
“And you are all busy getting fired from your job because you wont take the vaccine, like little peasant idiots

“If you look at this and still think that we should mask up and lockdown again… I don’t know what else to tell ya,”
When reports of the party plans surfaced at the beginning of the month, the Obamas received significant blowback. Critics pointed out that the 700+ guests were asked, but not required, to be vaccinated. They also noted that the party would be held at the Obamas’ 30-acre oceanfront estate, in their $12 million home, amid climate change concerns. They also called out the hypocrisy of holding such an event while Americans are facing more severe Covid restrictions in the face of the rise of the Delta variant.

Many people also pointed out that the party plans were in direct conflict with NIH director Francis Collins’s pronouncement just a few days before:
“If you’re talking about a small party like I might have at my house for six or eight people who are all fully vaccinated, I do not believe, at this point, we need to put masks on to be next to each other But if there were 100 people, and, of course, how are you really going to be sure about people’s vaccination status?”
