Jill Biden’s press sec demands an apology from Fox News host for ‘disgusting’ comment

First lady Jill Biden’s spokesperson demanded an apology from Fox News’ Rachel Campos-Duffy, who recently slammed Jill Biden for “letting” her husband run for President.

“When you look at what’s hurting America when you look at this lack of leadership, and you wonder, who are the people responsible for putting someone this incompetent and frankly this, you know, mentally frail in this position?” Campos-Duffy said before continuing to criticize Jill Biden.

“I’m sorry, as a political spouse, I can’t help but look at Jill Biden,” Campos-Duffy, who is married to former Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.), said. “No one knew better his state of mind than Dr. Jill Biden, and if you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband – to love her husband – and not let him run in this mental state that he’s in.”

“I think she failed the country as well,” Campos-Duffy said in conclusion.

Jill Biden’s press secretary, Michael LaRosa, responded, calling Campos-Duffy’s comments “disgusting.”

“This is disgusting. @RCamposDuffy and @FoxNews know better,” LaRosa wrote in a tweet. “They can do better, and their viewers deserve better. I hope they’ll apologize to the First Lady and leave this kind of talk in the [trash] where it belongs.”

Reactions online have been mixed, with some users defending Jill and others criticizing her.

“Jill Biden is not my First Lady,” Brigitte Gabriel wrote in a tweet

“Nobody blamed Melania trump [sic] for her idiot husband inviting Taliban to Camp David, or his deal to release 5,000 Taliban fighters. Stop trying to blame Jill Biden for what’s happening in Afghanistan,” a user called ‘BrooklynDad’ wrote in a tweet.

“If you are blaming anything on Dr. Jill Biden, just go f**k yourself. Thanks in advance,” a user called Kyla wrote in a tweet

“ACTUALLY — it’s “Doctor” Jill Biden (not a doctor) who owes THE COUNTRY an apology. If I had a spouse as LOST and FEEBLE as Joe Biden — I wouldn’t let them CROSS THE STREET, let alone run for PRESIDENT. Apologize to the people, and Joe!” Greg Kelly wrote in a tweet

Press Secretary LaRosa did not respond to the Independent Chronicle’s request for comment.
