Comedian Andy Dick arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after attacking lover with metal chair

Comedian Andy Dick, 55, was arrested on June 26 for assault with a deadly weapon after attacking his male lover Lucas with a metal chair.

“He could have killed him,” said Dick’s fiancée, Elisa Jordana, who detailed the altercation on her Youtube show “Kermit and Friends.” “I saw pictures, I saw video; it’s not good,…It was just the worst week with him. It was getting worse and worse and worse, and just every day there was some kind of problem. And there were signs that this was gonna happen.” she added.

Jordana says she feels relieved that Dick is in prison, where at least she knows he is safe. She says “a lot of the people that are around Andy are more dangerous than people in jail.”

Jordana also mentioned he was in “rare form” Saturday night and that while out to dinner, he stole various items from the restaurant, including plates, cutlery, and a wine glass in which he asked for a “doggy bag” to put it all in.

Dick’s bail was set to $50,000, according to the LAPD. Jordana says he made bail Tuesday morning.

The assault charges come after Dick was recently evicted from a hostel he was staying at after attempting to bring in 11 different people with him.  In 2018, he pled not guilty to misdemeanor battery and sexual battery after allegedly groping a woman’s buttocks.

In 2017, he was fired from a movie for allegedly groping cast and crew members. He denied the allegations and said: “I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing. It’s me being funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people.”

The comedian was famously dragged off of Jimmy Kimmel’s show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” in 2007 after repeatedly touching Ivanka Trump live on air. “Oh wait, did I say I was single? I thought I had a boyfriend,” Ivanka said as Kimmel rose from his seat to remove Dick from the set.
